Outlaw Biker Gangs and Organized Crime...

May 25 2003 at 11:21 PM

...is taking over in Graham County. These outlaw gangs know that they have no local law enforcement to deal with now and have taken over our roadways. The fact that a new sheriff was elected was posted on the tail-of-the-dragon web site just days after the election to inform these gangs that Graham County was once again open for business. This made these outlaw gangs very happy. The current sheriff sold the helicopter and has instructed his officers not to enforce traffic laws where the motorcycles are concerned. Our county is now wide open to these outlaw gangs and the citizens are at their mercy! Innocent citizens are having to suffer through this rein of terror!

If someone tells you they are only hurting themselves, don't believe it. They don't just haul their personal items in here on those bikes. Can you think of a better way to smuggle in drugs? There are certain dealers in this county who are very happy now that the bikers have free rein!

Does this lack of concern for the publics' safety surprise anyone? Bob Debruhl has been involved in dark politics and organized crime in Graham County for years. From hauling moonshine in his patrol car for the Deharts, stealing guns during his military service in Iraq and trying to smuggle them back to the states to fighting chickens with George Long and Darrin Stewart. Many would be surprised to read his internal affairs record. He has been at the center of organized crime in Graham County and North Carolina for many years and the sad thing is it has been common knowledge for many years.

Just look at who worked the hardest for him in the election? Those who are of the lowest moral character worked the hardest. They had an unlimited amount of funding to buy votes and pay their expenses. They were able to persuade a large majority of the voters that Graham County would be better off with Bob Debruhl in office.

If those voters would have just stopped took a long hard look at who was preaching this propaganda and asked themselves these two questions, "What di Bob Debruhl do as a State Trooper" "What do these people have to gain by getting him elected"?

They would have realized what was taking place!

It's too late now. The "God Father" of organized crime is now running Graham County and a majority of the voters asked for it.

What a society we live in!

You must really be jealous over ole Bob. Surely you're not still mad at not winning the election. You were pretty bad yourself. So no need to be calling names and trying to down our sheriff. When Steve was sheriff there were how many motorcycle wrecks? Too many. remember that guy who got his head chopped off!

Too many chases. I hera my scanner all the time and Bob's guys are doing fine. It makes me proud to know that the current Sheriff has enough confidence in his deputies, to not to have to baby sit them. Get real, drugs have always been in this county and will continue to do so. There is not enough of anything that is going to change that. Steve didn't change it nor will Bob. But each fights it in his own way.

If you have a problem with Bob trusting his deputies to do the job right, then be man enough or woman enough and go talk to him, better yet why don't cha just put this same thing in the paper and put a name to it.

I agree, something needs to be done about the motorcycles. Its dangerous to be on the roads, especially 129 into TN and the Cherohala. It seems like the law in TN is bought off. I would like to know how many people have been killed on that road.

It's a shame that a highway can be turned into a race track. I try to stay off that road during the weekend. When they slip up behind you, pass you, and nearly hit your car cutting back in, is scary. They act like the road belongs to them and you're an insult to be on it. The tail of the dragon just makes it worse. All they care about is the money they make selling their goods. They don't care that innocent people get hurt, just make that almighty $. Just read their post, you'll see what they're all about. They keep a watch on the law and warn the bikers. Some cycles are alright, it's the racers that I hate. Get them off the road!!!!

The Tennessee mountain is out of Bob's jurisdiction. You ain't no "biker insider" either. You need to be an "insider" in the Graham County jail for the way you lie. I know you. You've got a bad drinking problem and you could never save up enough money to buy a moped.

As I bike rider I think it is the other way around. The road is never dangerious for a car but it always is for a biker. There is no such thing as a bike running a car off the road. It is the other way around. If they are on your side of the road.. hit them, of course slowing down to avoid an accident....if that is possible.

Bikes don't have to run cars off the road to be dangerous. One bike came through the air in a curve and hit a friend's car up on the hood. The car was sitting in the ditch. If that's not dangerous then I don't know what is. I saw this "accident" with my own eyes. The biker was laying on the side of the road waiting for the ambulance, he was surrounded by about 20 more bikers.

The people in the car was scared. The law was standing there laughing. Why don't you get off your bike and drive a car across the mtn. some weekend. I bet you'll change your mind. I'm not against bike riders, just the rocket jockeys. If they wouldn't ride the center line it would be better. They lean on the line and by then they are on the other side of the line, a car has to veer to the right to keep from getting hit. If you want to race go to a race track, keep the roads safe.

I came across the mountain friday.Problem is the tires of the bikes are on his side of the yellow line.Leaning into the curve his head is in your headlights.MORE PEOPLE WILL DIE.If the biker is stupid enouugh to kill him or herself no problem, but what if they come through your windshield and and hurt you or a member of your family?I stopped three times for bikes and have no problem with bikes riden correctly(which many were)but some of these idiots will see an early grave either on the moutain or somewhere else.
