Check-out these awesome dragon tattoos that we photographed at the Overlook on May 5. We practically had the guy stripping to see the one on the left.
Retrieving a trashed R-1 that slid off the road and down the bank on April 27.

May 9, 2002: Photo at Ken Wheeler's Shop. Ken on left and Doug from Boston, Mass. Doug was riding his 1976 BMW to California when his alternator went out in Robbinsville. Ken got him back on the road so he could ride the Dragon.
LEFT: After returning home to Illinois from Honda Hoot, Vern decided that he had been Dragon bit and was going to have to go in for a cure....you know...a little something to get him by until he can return to the Dragon next year. So he put the Tail on his left arm. He's as proud of it as he can possibly be. BTW....his first tattoo.
BELOW: Bill of the Spirit World has a new tattoo ....guess what? Looks like we have started a real fad here.
ABOVE: Just the dragon i always wanted to get inked! Hopefully either in my civic or on my V star I'll ride the dragon this summer! Joel Hardin
While sitting outside at the Crossroads of Time Monday night Aug 12, a pickup pulling a 37' Formula came barreling down the hill. Out popped a hysterical lady with her road atlas. They were in route to Fort Meyers, FL and thought they could bypass the Chattanooga mountain roads by taking 129 instead. Their transmission was cooked from the Dragon, not to mention their cooked nerves.

Hey you guys, I just wanted to drop you this pic of your (well it's mine now) shirt in a very beautiful shot. Went for a ride down to the Keys and your shirt was a real attention getter. The locals couldnt BELIEVE there was such a road (I was kind enough to give them directions) but not without a warning. The roads down here are a miserable excuse to ride. It made me miss the Dragon and the wonderful Blue Ridge Parkway ........Hope to be back over that way soon.
