- April 13-17 The Asphalt Shredders from Florida, Tennessee & California return to the Dragon for their Semiannual Quest . Event headquartered at the Hampton Inn in Franklin, TN. Daily rides throughout the Western NC & Eastern TN area Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Included are tours of the Cherohala Skyway, US-28 and the Tail of the Dragon.

- April 16 - Mountain Motors is hosting a 51 mile Poker Run in conjunction with The Town of Andrews NC Centennial Celebration at Chamber of Commerce Hall's (Gazebo) Park in Andrews. Register 9-12, Blessing of the Bikes 10 am. First bike out at Noon. Return by 3 pm. $10 per hand. Awards shortly after 3 pm.

- July 2 THE FIRST ANNUAL BIKER BASH AT THE PUNKIN CENTER MOTORCYCLE RESORT - $10 for live Southern Rock and Bluegrass music all afternoon and one of the best BBQ dinners you'll ever taste. 2 pm until 1 am. Draft beer at $1 a glass NO COOLERS. Proceeds go to the Shriner's Children's Hospital of Tennessee.
